The first home-made train in Turkey
The first home-made train in Turkey announced by the Turkish government.
According to the official Anatolia Agency, Turkey is preparing to test the first home-made electrical sector on May 29.
On Friday, Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mustafa Wrank visited the “Tuvasac” plant in Sakarya (northwest) state, which is manufacturing the train.
The Turkish Minister, in a press statement, praised the “Tuvasach” plant as a castle for the industry in Turkey, saying
“We are talking about an industrial facility that enabled Turkey to produce fast and high-speed trains.”
He noted that the electric train being manufactured will be at a speed of 160 km per hour, and will operate on the railways in Turkey for the high-speed and high-speed trains.
In response to a question about the launch date of the new electric train
“The train start date will be May 29, and according to the experiments, citizens will start using it in September,” said Warrank.
