The Turkish economy is growing 6 percent in the last quarter of 2019, and 0.9 percent at the general level.
This came in a statement to the Statistics Authority, Friday, on Turkey’s gross domestic product based on the production method.
According to the authority’s data, the Turkish economy grew 6 percent in the last quarter of 2019, and by 0.9 percent compared to 2018.
She pointed out that the gross domestic product during 2019 increased by 14.9 percent, and its total value reached 4 trillion, 280 billion and 381 million Turkish liras.
The data added that the added value of the education, health and social services sector increased during the past year by 4.6 percent, the financial sector 7 percent, and the agricultural sector by 3.3 percent.
The Statistics Authority noted that the added value of the construction sector declined 8.6 percent over the past year.
