Turkey’s auto exports amount to 2.5 billion dollars in February
Turkey’s auto exports amount to $ 2.5 billion during February, the Exporters Association said in a statement.
“Although it fell 0.9 percent year on year, Turkish auto exports occupied a high position among other sectors,” said the Oludag Automobile Exporters Association (OIB).
The statement said, according to the “New Turkish Post”, the sector’s share in total Turkish exports amounted to 17.2 per cent.
The European Union market accounted for 75 percent of all auto exports in the country last month.
The World Bank’s Board Chairman, Baran Schilic said:
“Auto exports increased by one percent to reach 4 billion dollars in the first two months of this year.”
